ASQ Personnel
ASQ Personnel
Both Fox
Cities and New England Arlington String Quartets share personnel. The
string quartets rehearse the same music separately, as well as together, but
function together as the Arlington String Quartet.

Completing the top theory track at Lawrence Conservatory, Matthew
transferred to the University of Minnesota in 2003 to study with Tanya
Remenikova, graduating with degrees in Music
Education, and Cello Performance. In May, 2010, Matthew led the
RIPC Orchestra in an energetic performance of Haydn D Major Concerto.
Matthew is no stranger to the Minnesota Orchestra stage, headlining on the BMW Jazz mainstage
in 2004, in a packed Orchestra hall 2007 performance with his ensemble Jetsam Organic Ensemble,
and the Orchestra Hall Mainstage in 2008 with his duet Pendulum.
In 2006, Matthew toured South Dakota with the Flower and Flame String Quintet.
Matthew maintains an active playing schedule in New England with many jazz groups,
having played at Lupos, Hi Hat, the Dakota Bar and Grill, Rossi's Blue
Star Room, Matty B's, and many more. George Maurer Jazz
Group, Reception Jazz, Latin Sounds Orchestra, Xibaba, Simbiosis, and
many more groups have featured Matthew as a member of their ensemble.
